Stop taking this medicine immediately if you experience:

Like all medicines, Solpadine can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. One of the most common side effects is constipation. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop taking this medicine immediately: severe abdominal pain, dry mouth, nausea, and vomiting, particularly if you have recently undergone gall bladder removal; symptoms such as nervousness, dizziness, irritability, drowsiness, or restlessness; severe allergic reactions such as skin rash and itching; skin rash, peeling, mouth ulcers, itching, or sweating; breathing difficulties; unexplained bruising or bleeding; symptoms including nausea, upset stomach, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite, and yellowing of the eyes and skin; difficulty urinating. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention. It’s important to be aware of these potential side effects and respond promptly for your safety. For optimal usage, take two capsules every four hours as needed. It’s important not to exceed this frequency or take more than eight capsules within a 24-hour period. Avoid administering to children under 12 years of age. Should symptoms persist, it’s advisable to seek consultation with your doctor. Additionally, be aware that prolonged use may lead to addiction; therefore, limit use to three days only.

Paracetamol 500 mg, Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate 8 mg and Caffeine 30 mg, Magnesium stearate, maize starch, gelatin and colours erythrosine (E127), patent blue V (E131), quinoline yellow (E104), titanium dioxide (E171). The printing ink contains methylated spirit, shellac, purified water, soya lecithin (E322), dimethylpolysiloxane, 2-ethoxyethanol and colour black iron oxide (E172).
