For example, consult your doctor if you are taking corticosteroid tablets, antibiotics (e.g., chloramphenicol or quinolones), or flucloxacillin due to the serious risk of blood and fluid abnormalities (high anion gap metabolic acidosis) that require urgent treatment, especially in cases of severe renal impairment, sepsis, malnutrition, chronic alcoholism, and if the maximum daily doses of paracetamol are used.
