For adults, the elderly, and children aged 6 months and over, Derbac M Liquid provides a comprehensive regimen for treating various conditions. To address head lice, it’s recommended to apply enough liquid to dry hair, ensuring thorough coverage from root to tip, leaving it to naturally dry in a well-ventilated area. After 12 hours, or the following day, hair can be shampooed as usual, followed by combing to remove dead lice and eggs. This process should be repeated after 7 days.

For treating pubic lice, the liquid should be applied to the entire skin surface, paying close attention to hairy areas like beards and moustaches, leaving it on for at least an hour before washing off, preferably overnight, and repeating the treatment after 7 days.

Similarly, derbac m liquid for scabies, the liquid should be applied to the entire skin surface, with a thin film applied to the scalp, face, and ears in children under 2 years old, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Washing or bathing should be avoided for 24 hours, and if necessary, reapplied immediately to any washed areas. Clothing can be laundered normally without special sterilization. While the treatment effectively clears infestation, itching and rash may persist for up to 7 days, for which an anti-irritant cream can be used if needed.

Derbac liquid should be avoided under certain circumstances. Firstly, if you have a known allergy to Malathion or any other ingredients listed in section 6 of the medicine’s information. Additionally, it is not suitable for infants under 6 months old unless directed by a doctor. Prolonged or repeated use should be avoided, limiting application to once a week for a maximum of 3 consecutive weeks. Healthcare professionals treating multiple patients should wear protective gloves. Contact with the eyes, mouth, and inside the ears should be avoided, and the medicine should only be used on the skin, avoiding broken or infected areas. In case of ingestion, medical attention should be sought immediately. Derbac M contains methylhydroxybenzoate (E218) and propylhydroxybenzoate (E216), which may trigger allergic reactions. Those with sensitive skin should conduct a patch test before use, and individuals with asthma should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. For pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or those planning pregnancy, seeking advice from a healthcare professional before using this product is advisable.

Derbac M Liquid, like all medications, may elicit side effects, though not everyone experiences them. Reported reactions include skin irritation, allergic reactions ranging from mild to severe (including difficulty breathing, dizziness, and facial swelling), and even chemical burns. In case of accidental ingestion or eye contact, ensure the medicine is used solely on the skin and protect the eyes with a towel.
