They are used to relieve migraine, headache, dental pain, period pain, backache, rheumatic pain, strains and sprains, and sciatica. Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics, which act to relieve pain. Paracetamol is another analgesic that relieves pain, while caffeine acts to further enhance the effectiveness of paracetamol.

This medicine contains codeine, which can cause addiction if taken continuously for more than three days. Prolonged use can result in withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it. Additionally, this medicine contains paracetamol, so do not take any other products containing paracetamol while using it. If you become addicted, you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as restlessness, difficulty sleeping, irritability, agitation, anxiety, palpitations, increased blood pressure, nausea, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, shaking, shivering, or sweating. For oral administration only, Codasolve Effervescent Tablets should be dissolved in at least half a glass of water and can be taken with or without food. Stir before use, and drink the solution immediately after preparation. These tablets are meant to be dissolved first, so do not try to swallow them whole. Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. If you encounter any of the following symptoms after taking these tablets, it’s essential to contact your doctor immediately: any sudden wheeziness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nervousness, irritability, restlessness, or swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, or throat; an acute allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) or swelling of the skin; severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting if you have recently had your gall bladder removed; unexplained bruising or bleeding; nausea, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite, and yellowing of the eyes and skin; very rare cases of serious skin reactions such as skin rash, peeling, or mouth ulcers; difficulty in urination or cloudy urine.
