Benylin Dry Coughs Night

For adults and children aged 12 years and over, the recommended dose of Benylin Dry Coughs night Syrup is two 5 ml spoonfuls at bedtime, followed by the same dosage every 6 hours or four times a day. Benylin dry cough night is suitable for most people, but a few should not use it. If you have any doubts, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Be cautious, as taking this medicine regularly, especially over a long period, can lead to addiction. Only use this medicine as described in the leaflet. Addiction can cause withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it. These symptoms may include restlessness, difficulty sleeping, irritability, agitation, anxiety, palpitations, increased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, shaking, shivering, or sweating. Do not use Benylin night syrup if you have ever experienced a severe reaction to diphenhydramine, dextromethorphan, levomenthol, or any of the ingredients. Avoid it if you suffer from lung disease or if you are currently taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression. Additionally, refrain from using this medicine if you are taking selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as fluoxetine, paroxetine, and sertraline for depression and anxiety. This medicine is also not suitable for children under 12 years old. If any of these conditions apply to you, seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist before using it.
