Scholl Freeze Verruca & Wart Remover is used in the treatment of verrucas and warts. These are highly common and usually painless but can be unsightly and unpleasant but luckily, they’re easy to treat.
Scholl Freeze Verruca & Wart Remover works by freezing the cells of the wart or verruca, causing them to eventually drop off. This is highly effective and easy to do.
Warts are small fleshy lumps of skin that can appear anywhere, while verrucas are simply warts that appear exclusively on the soles of the feet. Both are usually painless but can be unsightly and uncomfortable and treatment with Scholl is quick, easy and painless.
Always follow the guidance given in the enclosed patient information leaflet and be sure to read it before commencing use of the medicine.
Before you start using the treatment, have a household timer to hand because the treatment requires precise timing.
Start by selecting the most appropriate applicator bud (based on the size of the wart/verruca) and attach it to the white plastic cap by pushing it in firmly. Place the can upright on a sturdy surface and place the cap on top so that the applicator bud sits in the clear plastic shield on the side.
Taking care not to hold the plastic cap, keep the can upright and press the cap firmly for 5 seconds. Remove the cap from the can with the applicator still attached and hold it (bud facing down) for at least 15 seconds so that the liquid can reach the correct freezing temperature.
Keeping the applicator pointing downwards, lightly place the bud on the centre of the wart/verruca for precisely 40 seconds (no longer). Discard the applicator bud after a single use.
