Co-cyprindiol and Epiduo gel

Apply a thin layer of Epiduo gel to clean, dry skin before going to bed. After using the cream, thoroughly wash your hands because it will bleach fabrics and hair and may cause eye irritation.

You should take Co-cyprindiol for 21 days, beginning on the first day of your period, followed by a 7-day break. If you take it in this manner and at roughly the same time every day, it will function as a contraceptive.

Epiduo gel contains both Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide and works to disrupt the skin processes that cause acne, kill bacteria that aids in the formation of acne, and peel the skin’s outer layer.

Co-cyprindiol (also known as Dianette or Clairette) treats acne by blocking the hormones that cause it.

This treatment combination will be most effective for women who have pustules (small sore red spots with white tips). Combining Epiduo gel with the Co-cyprindiol contraceptive pill should help with both the cause and the appearance of acne.

Some women may experience side effects when taking Co-cyprindiol, as with many medications. Nausea, breast tenderness, mood swings, and headaches are all possible side effects.

Because epiduo gel makes the affected area more sensitive to sunlight, it is critical to wear appropriate sun protection. Peeling skin, redness, dryness, and a mild burning sensation may also occur in some people.
